Slack is a messaging app for businesses that connects people to the information they need. By bringing people together to work as one unified team, Slack transforms the way organizations communicate. integration with Slack allows you to send notifications to a channel of your choice when a candidate is selected (a Yes action is taken in Dashboard).

To integrate with Slack, you should have a public channel created on Slack before. Here is how to create one.

Step 1:

First, you should go to the platform and head to the Marketplace Section.

Next, click on the Destinations tab, then click on the Slack destination.

Step 2:

Now, you will need to log in to your Slack account and authorize the connection with

To do so, click on Authenticate, and then click on Authorize to integrate with Slack.

Step 3:

For this next step, you have to choose the Slack channel to which you want to send your notifications, and then click on Add Slack Integration.

Step 4:

For the final step, let's test our integration.

First, go to the feed section in the platform, find an applicant you want to shortlist, and then mark them with Yes.

Next, open your Slack account and head to the channel you specified earlier in the integration settings. You will receive a notification for the profile you marked Yes on the platform along with some key information:

  • Full name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • The job they applied for

  • The source of their application, and the type of this source.

  • Their score for the relevant job

This is a useful integration for teams working on Slack as it allows them to see in real-time applicants that have been shortlisted.
